Creating Confident and Successful Readers
I offer one-on-one, virtual or in-person tutoring sessions for students struggling with foundational reading and writing skills. If you are worried your 1st-4th grade student is falling behind and believe they would benefit from targeted instruction, I would love to use the skills I’ve gained during 16 years of classroom teaching to get them back on track. I started Trail Marker Teaching because I have witnessed too many students feel lost and frustrated by the process of learning to read and write. It is my goal to act as a guide through this challenging experience by providing students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to feel happy and engaged at school. In addition to providing direct instruction, I am also able to help identify more advanced learning needs and assist families through the process of advocating for greater supports at school. If your child would benefit from any of these services, please get in touch!
